At the end of a rather strange and surprising day, three humans and their Digimon partners were heading home, not sure what to think about the day that had passed...  "This sucks," Yolei groaned, briefly feeling a spot where one of Mari's bullet's had hit her, "I'm surprised I'm still alive after being shot by an automatic weapon..."  "We didn't know she'd go that far, Yolei," Kari answered, supporting TK as they walked. "It's a new experience for us all." "I know, but... Back when we first got our Digi-Eggs, I felt like only we could take on the bad guys... Your brother, Masaru, and Keith couldn't do crap. But now we're completely outclassed!" Yolei sighed. "I bet Keith felt the same thing, considering he started out like us, but he didn't get the good stuff..."  "He could be another D3 user for all we know. I mean, TK, Kari and June got D3s as well..."  "But by that logic, Tai and Masaru would've gotten one each as well... But Keith and Vix would have the advantage of being able to reach higher levels on their own..." "Why does this have to be so complicated..." |

There was an awkward pause. "I wonder how my brother's doing... I miss him already," Kari sighed. "They're probably alright. They've got way more experience than I do," Yolei chuckled, trying to keep spirits up. That didn't do much to cheer her up. This was one of the lowest points of her life right now... |

"...Kari..." TK uttered, as he glanced at her with a solemn look. In that instant, though, unbeknownst to anyone but her, Kari would suddenly find herself... somewhere else. Not in the sense that she was missing from the group; just that... her sense of perception had changed. |

Her eyes shot open, seeing a bizzare vision of someplace else entirely... "Kari? You alright?" She blinked, and the vision was gone all of a sudden, and she shook her head. "I-I'm fine... It's nothing." The both of them were a tad confused by that... |

She nodded, "That... That might be a good idea." "How about over there?" Yolei suggested, pointing to a nearby park bench. She nodded again, leading TK over, and sitting down, with a sigh. Sheesh, I've never seen Kari so gloomy before... Yolei frowned, sitting down as well. Neither had these two, as they sat down as well. |

"No kidding..." Kari nodded... And her vision suddenly flashed again, seeing that strange place... She rubbed her temples, wondering if the stress was getting to her all of a sudden. "On the bright side, I figured out how to use those programs," Yolei chuckled, examining her program collection. "Too bad the holy water was so expensive... Or the Phoenix Feather, for that matter... Having a better healing item or a phoenix down would be SWEET!" |
