Seadramon let out a small roar.

Brick finally devolved to Bearmon again.

"Remember, my name's Brick!" said Brick, "Well, Derrick...but everyone calls me Brick because it's shorter."


"Good. Everyone's intact, tower down, all rescued, and I got the digi-egg I needed. Which reminds me about the other one. Guess we're bringing that back to DATS US. Now to find a monitor or something so we can get out of here and get back home. Hopefully in time for some sleep."


"We'll turn the egg into Mr. Daimon, whoever has it."


"Considering I expect I have to write an after-action report or something..."

"Right here." She announced, holding the plant pot with the red egg.

"Hm?" He stood up and came over to the pot. "This is an egg, you're kidding me..." He put his hand on it and pulled it out with a light grunt, possibly surprising everyone. "Huh, doesn't seem as heavy as it looks."

"...the egg was meant for him?" Michael gawked. "Well... I honestly didn't see that one coming."

"Cool, now I can just write it up in whatever report. Now let's find a way outta here," said Brett, "I'm hungry and it's getting late."


"So am I! Can we get nachos someplace?"


"We'll see when we get back to New York. Everyone hunt around for something so we can port out of here."

"Ya mean this?" he said, pointing at a TV in a porch, beside a sleeping old man.




"...you mean he slept under the battle?!"

"Aw!" The imps moaned. They're not sure what the egg really does, but they seem depress it wasn't theirs.

"Huh? I'm not supposed to pull it out normally?" He asked, as a certain symbol appeared on it.

"Apprently not. But yeah, least we got a nice trinket out of our troubles."

"Hm..." He blinked. "Yeah, still upset about Deputymon though..." He looked down a bit.

"...Deputymon?" Michael hummed. "Someone you met here?"



"...I'm sure we can hear of what occured here later, but... for now, I believe it's high time we headed home." Ivan nodded.

...and devolved into Betamon.

He was at least a respectful sort, not wanting to startle the old man he walked up and asked.
"Err, sir? Excuse me, but may we please use that television?" he asked, voice loud enough to hopefully wake him up, but not yelling at all.

"One of the others with a D3 can do it, then," said Brett, "I ain't gonna scare the ol' guy shitless by activating a portal on a TV under him like that!"

"Let's go with em, Kaz. Those guys might be roaming around, and I did scan that Deputymon's still alive. So he might be around here somewhere."

He nodded, looking better as he smiled. "Yeah. I don't wanna get captured anyway, so why not." He stepped up and stuck out his D3. "Digiport's open." All of the sudden, the gate sucked everyone inside.
