Pixel Lake - Getting Ready...

"Man... at long last..." He groaned as he and his group finally arrived at the lake where Izzy wants them to be...



"The lake where the Digivice 01 is located..." He sighed. "We've made it..."

"...at last..." Sora sighed, as she took a seat.



The three of them were busy setting up the camp around the place...



...while Gomamon was swimming around in the lake.



"You think you can swim down to locate the 01?" Tai called to Gomamon.



"Sure thing! I know we're not gonna grab it yet, but it's not gonna stop us from finding out where it is in the lake."



"While we set up camp, you go and do that!"



And he dove under the water; only to see if he could find the 01, and nothing else.



The two of them sat down along with Sora and Nyokimon for the moment; gazing out at the lake.

"Ugh..." He groaned, setting his bag down. "My back..."



"I could have carried them for you, Matt, as Garurumon..."



"Nah, it's fine..." He said, sighing. "I just had enough for today..."

"That's understandable..." Sora remarked.



As he sat down, he gazed at his Digivice whilst waiting for Izzy to call him back.



"While we're here... maybe we could start to think of where to find the other three tags we need?" June hummed.



"I figure that Neo's gonna keep a few on him..." Zero hummed.

He slumped beside his bag. "...as a lure...?"



"Come to think of it... what are the last three tags called anyway?"

"Well, we have the Nature Tag from Tricera and Persia, and the Nightmare Tag from Vamde..." Zero remarked with a hum.



Tai closed his eyes thoughtfully. "...the ones remaining... the Deep Tag, the Metal Tag, and the Wind Tag."



He hummed. "...Nature, Nightmare, Deep, Metal and Wind... sounds like certain classes of Digimon."



"...Digimon have classes?"



"Several. Seems like the tags you need represent the Nature Spirits; those attuned with nature, the Deep Savers; those who slumber beneath the sea, the Nightmare Soldiers; those who feast on the horrors of the world, the Metal Empire; the mechanical beings of the Digital World, and the Wind Guardians; those who soar among the winds..."



"...didn't take you for the poetic type."



"It's something I've studied; nothing more."

"Nightmare Soldier... Wind Guardians... Deep Savers..." He muttered. "...this is something we never learned before..."



"Sorry, Matt... we do know about it, us Digimon... we didn't mention it because we thought it wouldn't be important..."



"What class are you then, Gabumon?" He asked.



"Me...? Nature Spirits, Virus Busters and Metal Empire."



"...Metal Empire? What's Metal about you, apart from your lost Mega form?"



"Dunno... that's the way I am..."

"It's really not of too much consequence; it's not like the different classes of Digimon have distinct advantages over other classes." Ryo mused, as he glanced back at Cybedramon. "Cyberdramon, for instance, is a Virus Buster, Nature Spirit, Wind Guardian, and Metal Empire."



He snarled.



"...that's a lot..." Joe remarked.



"I would assume that Zero would be the same, minus the Metal Empire; he seems similar enough to Cyberdramon that it could work."



"...what about Gomamon, Biyomon and Tinkermon?"



"Gomamon would be Deep Saver, Biyomon would be Nature Spirit and Wind Guardian, and Tinkermon... hm. I would assume a Nature Spirit."



"Sounds like it'd fit, yeah." Tinkermon hummed.

"He's right, Matt... doesn't matter which class we are in... there's no type advantage..." He noted. "I mean, he and the others were all Virus Busters, but it was just a class..."



"He...? He who?"



He smiled. "Kentaurosmon..."



"Kudamon's Mega form...Kentarousmon and the other Royal Knights, like Omnimon, are Virus Busters..."



"...which is pretty ironic if you think about it because not all Royal Knights are Vaccine or Data-types..."



"...you mean... a Virus-type Digimon can be a Virus Buster...?"



He nodded. "Like Crusadermon... or was it LordKnightmon or LoadKnightmon?"



"Hmm..."



"I'm surprised that Cyberdramon isn't part of Dragon's Roar... most dragon-based Digimon are part of that group."

Cyberdramon scoffed.



"Well, just because they have "dramon" in their name, doesn't make them part of Dragon's Roar." Ryo remarked with a hum. "Birdramon and Saberdramon are perfect examples of that."



Tai simply hummed, as he kept looking at his Digivice.

"I guess that's true..." He admits. "Crusadermon is a Virus Digimon, but she's a Virus Buster... then, there's Agumon..."



"Agumon...? Which one...?"



He smirked. "Both..."



"...all Greymon are Dragon's Roar classed Digimon... even if they don't look like a dragon..."



"I guess classes are chosen randomly like why I'm Metal Empire and Garurumon is a Nightmare Soldier..."



"...your right... chosen randomly..." He sighed.

"It's really nothing to worry about." Ryo hummed. "Now... let's get some food prepared. I'm sure most of us are starving."



"You said it!"



"...right."



"What do we have to pick from in regards to food, then?" June hummed, as she glanced at Matt, Sora and Joe.



"...well..." Sora blinked a touch, as she rubbed her head in thought; admittedly, they hadn't exactly seen what sort of food their cloaked companion had decided to get them. "...let's find out."

"Well, let's see..." He said, opening his bag and started to take out the contents...

As he'd discover, there was a lot of food there; enough to sustain the entire group, and most of it both healthy and tasteful.



"I made sure to find the best I could afford." Ryo mused, as he turned to look towards Tai...



...who alternated between looking at his Digivice and the lake.

Speaking of the lake...



...Gomamon was still submerged; looking around the bottom for any sort of hint on where the 01 would be. The moment he'd see it, the instant he'd alert the others.

He didn't find it, but suddenly a school of Gomamon shot through him.
