??? (Alaska): We're off to see the Wizard

"Kind of nervous to ride in that relic."

@reiner@ "Relax. It's a bit worn, but it's record is almost flawless." He joked and went inside.

"...almost he says." He frowned and went inside.

"It sounded like a joke. Though it doesn't look too bad." He followed onboard.

@reiner@ He sat in the seat and starting preping the plane.

Normally there would be a co-pilot for Reiner, but he was out. Skeleton staff while civilians were hanging about. Only as many people as need be. That meant the pilot, the CO, and, as always, the General.

Plenty of seats lined the fuselage, so everyone could sit down and buckle up.


"Alright, all of you, we're going to go through what we can while we're in the air," she said, "What exactly are you here for?"


"We're supposed to be here to introduce new info to ENIAC2 and ask for some help in maybe finding solutions."
We'll say Brett has the SD card.
He held up the memory card.


"Alright. You can talk to him about that personally, but he's likely going to refer you to his other guardians for more specific help."


"Guardians?"


"There are several guardians that ENIAC2 made himself for the DoDDW; you're likely to meet at least four of them."


"So they're digimon?"


The Major nodded. "Much like your Royal Knights, only more involved in the governance of the world. Thothmon runs a university, Horusmon runs the law enforcement."

"Yeah, Sam's dad told me one of them could help a problem off my back."

"Is that implying she's on your ba..." Slap.

"They sound like a unified force alright."

The Major laughed.

"They call each other Brother and Sister, and ENIAC2 their father."

Brett just about came undone laughing.

"Just because you're one family doesn't mean that you get along!" he said.


"That's pretty much about right," laughed Andorra.
Though she suddenly thought.


"Think that one of them might be able to help with our brainwashing dilemma?" she asked Brett and Lex.


"Brainwashing...Thothmon would likely know something about that. All he does is read and write. Any of you ever read 'The Autumn of Destroyed Memories'?"


"I have. It's an intriguing thriller novel, alright."


"Thothmon wrote it; we published it under a false name for him."


"Interesting. I should meet this digimon."


"As for your...isssue...Kaz, I'm sure Hathormon can solve it to some degree."

He looked at Andorra, a bit hopeful. "You really think they can help save the others?"

He nodded. "Can't wait to meet her then."

If I forgot to mention it, the plane is already in the air.

"If there's anyone that can examine us thoroughly and knows more about coding and digimon than whoever made us, it would be an ENIAC and his guardians, I'd think..."


"That'd be great if he could help with that. Right now we've got nothing that'd prevent them from going nuts at anything if we managed to convince them of anything."


"Major, would any of them be able to help me with this?"

She looked at what he was holding up; his half-finished weapon.

"If you bring that to Horusmon with the schematics, he'd likely be able to figure something out. He collects and builds weapons."


"Cool...sounds like we can get a lot accomplished here."

The Major looked a bit sad.

"Least we can do for not being able to help five years ago. The subspace distortion grounded us in Alaska, and ENIAC2 didn't want us leaving and drawing attention to his digital world."

Cool. I have to get back to my apartment from class, see you in like half an hour or so.

[kelik]

"Huh...well, better late than never. Whatever help we can get, I'll take it."

He nodded. "I can't wait to see what we can do too." He smiled.

"How long you planning on letting us stay, Major?"


"Depends. This digital world's as good as any to train, and it'll take time parse out or solve your data properly. I had you bring your bags because you might be staying here for a couple days or more."


"Makes enough sense, I guess. Not exactly a fan of being off the front and away from my sisters..."
Lex was sitting next to her on one side, and she gave him a mega-noogie. "But I've got my little brother here," she smirked.
Then she looked at Brett.

"And my boyfriend," she said, and the two kissed.


"My father will not be pleased...but this is for the good of the country and the world at large. I cannot be denied."


"Well, I'm kind of on my own now. Looks like this is really my first time way away from the family."


"Err...major? How much of the world we're going to is like the other digital world?"


"The changes that occurred to the other digital world that we know of had already occurred here. Names, sexual dimorphism, etcetera. ENIAC2 is constantly tweaking. Certain things he does, though, only with consent of the digimon of the digital world."


"How many different types of digimon are there? New ones that we don't know of? Outside of the guardians, that is. Never heard of a Thothmon or a Horusmon or a Hathormon..."


"More than a few. We don't have some of yours; you don't have some of ours."

"Gah, cut it out, Andorra..." He struggled a bit.

"Sounds like a real party over there."

@reiner@ "You have no idea." He called, getting closer.

So what am I looking for, Blue?

Down low was a small cleared area in a large forest. That's all you could see from the air, though. The thing was next to a river and a hill, so it looked just like any other small clearing. No pavement. This thing was super-secret. But of course Reiner had flown and landed there many times. Land, taxi into the hill, and the hidden elevator will take you down.


"You should know that only makes me do it harder!!!" said Andorra, power-noogie-ing Lex even more, laughing.


"Sheesh, she's a handful," said Brett with a chuckle. Of course, there was affection in that. He'd only met her this morning and the two were already obviously in love. Love at first sight, one could suppose.


"Wow, we really are in the middle of nowhere," said Brick, looking out the window.


"Yeah..."


"I assume we are somewhere in the upper third of the United States, and based on the angle of the sun, I would assume somewhere in-."

The Major shot him a look and he shut up hard.

"We're in where?"

"Probably some super special awesome secret base, like Area 61!"

"Don't you mean Area 51...?" He blinked.

@reiner@ He landed as smoothly as possible and looked over. "We're here."

"Guh, right..." He felt his head. Andorra always had a very powerful grip.

The side of the mountain opened up to let you taxi the plane in.


"Err, nothing."
The major had a deathglare, alright.


"Alright, enough out of me," she smirked, letting Lex go.


"This is crazy...top secret government stuff..."

@reiner@ So he did...

"Hey, I just realized." He blinked. "If Brett and I are out in the new Digital world...doesn't that leave the US branch up the creek without a paddle?"

"What do you mean?"

"We were the only two D3 and Armor users over there."

"Yeah, I guess, but I think they're going to be better about trying to handle all that and distributing things...besides, I heard there were other D3 users hanging about up there."
The ones that're actually SUPPOSED to beat the Hydemon people...

The elevator started moving as the group descended down hundreds of feet. Eventually, it stopped at the bottom, and the Major unbuckled and nodded.

"Follow me, please. You're going to have to meet General Zobrist first."

They all nodded, got up with their things, and followed her.

"Right. I think they'll be alright." He agreed, while the others unbuckled and followed.
