She slammed her hand down onto her Digivice, "DIGISOUL CHARGE!"  He gasped, as he glowed... "Hawkmon, digivolve to...!"  "Aquilamon!" She grinned from ear to ear, "YES! WOO!"  "Well done, Yolei!" Kari smiled.  "Heh, nice!" Gatomon smiled.   They nodded approvingly. |

"That explains why those two are making noise in the other room..." He muttered, looking at Kristy... "Huh, you're Marcus' brother, Kristy, right?" She smiled, "Yes, she is." "So there's another Aquilamon..." He blinked. "Most interesting!"
Elsewhere, in parts unknown... "Pity I couldn't get a word of that conversation in the conference room... It's very well shielded from outside interference. But I suppose I can settle for having some fun with these young ones... I want to see how they cope with what I'm about to send at them..." Mused a figure sitting on a chair, watching the scene in front of him via viewscreens, as he took a sip of his wine...
Then, in the training room, a rift suddenly opened, only darkness beyond it, and several glowing eyes... "What the HECK?!" Yolei freaked, backing away. "How the hell...?!" Gatomon hissed... "Hoo, boy, we're in for a fight!"  "Big time, unless someone can shut that damn rift!" Then, a few energy spheres flew in from the portal, phasing into the walls, and blocking off the doorways with some kind of barrier. "... You have got to be kidding me."
Then another rift appeared in the room where Davis and Veemon were training... And something horrible emerged...  A horrible, undead abomination that moved and hissed like something that shouldn't be alive at all... |
