"To that, we're going to have to work hard. And secure transport across the sea...considering you can't fly, and neither can Aaren." "That is an issue, yes..." "Right..."

"Yes, that'll be an issue..." Riza mused. "If only you could use Digisoul to fly."

Goku thought, then snapped his fingers. "I could teach you to cloud-hop!" "Saywhathuh?!" Goku backflipped up to a cloud. "I think that if digisoul can help a human defy strength and speed limitation, it can be used to break...other...realities." "Is that not risky?! Even the DATS members haven't done it before!" Wow, Aaren contracted a word, he must be incredulous. "Well, because they never tried!"

She smirked. "You might be onto something, there. Hell, for all we know, you might be able to create wings from Digisoul or something."

"So, try it. Jump." Sam concentrated, using digisoul, and did so. He definitely got high up there, but of course he had to land on the ground. "Well, that works..." "'Course it does. Now...when you're in the air, concentrate on imagining your digisoul under you, supporting you." "Err...all...right..." "Don't jump so high, though, we can't afford for you to break something in your fragile human bones." "Thanks..." Sam jumped a few feet off the ground, and, on the way down, attempted to do what Goku told him to. He ended up...almost...tripping?...in midair, falling forward. "Well..." muttered Sam- "HA! Would you look at that! Partial success!"

She couldn't believe her eyes. "My word..."

Sam hopped up again, and then did the jump again. Close, he fell off of...something on the way down. Third time he almost managed to stop before falling backwards. Fourth... Sam jumped up and landed on both feet. Starting to fall backwards, he pushed out his hands and imagined the digisoul as solid ground behind them. From there, he managed to push himself up, standing a couple feet above the ground. "...I hate my life..." said Sam, gulping. He was scared to death of flying, and right now, he was above the earth. "THE KID'S A NATURAL! HOLY COW!"

"Well done. You don't necessarily have to 'fly' doing that, you know," Riza remarked. "Heck... In theory, you could walk on water, as well."

Sam about crossed himself and started praying right there. "Oh, you're the religious type," chuckled Sam, "You and Sanzomon should get along just fine." Aaren completely blinked. "I...suppose that I will be going into the digivice, then..."

She nodded to Aaren. "Seems so." She looked at Sam, remarking, "Ironic, isn't it, that you're praying in the presence of an angel?"

"Don't...even begin to try and dissect that theological oddity...." said Sam, shaking his head, "Do you digimon even believe in God?" Legit question, he didn't know. "Some do. Some thought King Drasil was a god. Sanzomon believes in her own thing. I just go with the flow."

"I'm not much of a religious type, myself. Ironic, I know," she remarked. "Though considering who my mother was..."

Sam was religious, but he wasn't preachy. And when he opened his mouth to ask Riza, Goku shook his head. "You don't need or want to know, kid." "But-" "No buts. It's best you don't. Anyhow, get down. We've got to get back to training you up and getting moving." Sam hopped down.

She nodded, "Indeed, it's best that we keep moving. We have to get to shore and then to the Uranus continent."

"Indeed. But I need to intensify the training...they have to reach Ultimate level before we start our flight...or walk, as it were...to the Uranus continent, and not much in the way of distance to do so." "I'm up for it!" "We cannot fail or rest!" "I like these two. They're the good kind of stubborn," he chuckled.
