"OH MY GOSH! THIS IS SO COOL!" Yolei said, hugging her partner-


"Uh, Yolei? As one geek to another, I know this is freaking cool and all, but you might wanna check your priorities, because there's a big-ass dinosaur here ready to kill us!" Keith said.


This snapped Yolei out of her excitement. "Oh! Right! Halsemon, do your thing!"


"You can count on me, miss Yolei!" Halsemon said, taking flight, and...

He simply dodged with ease, spun around, creating a tornado to attack the Deltamon's black ring. "TEMPEST WING!"

"Aw man!!" he whined, seeing how so swift Halsemon moved. And Yolei was the first to use these things. Seriously, he has the goggles, as in the main character. It was the rule for the main character to be the first to use the weird magic mcguffins.

"Hey, Agu---erm, Veemon!!" he said, picking him up. "Can you Digivolve into a SuperVeemon or something? We can't let Nerdette show us up."

"Uhh...I think youse have to open the Digi-Egg."

Dropping him, he looked at the bladed egg. "Is that what this is?"

Looking back at the eggs, Tai hummed. "...guess that's why they're egg-shaped..."



"It's the first time I've seen Digi-Eggs like those, then!"



With a hum, TK looked at Davis and Cody. "Well, however Yolei managed to transform her Digimon, you should try and do the same! We're counting on you three for this!"



"You can do it!"

Deltamon wouldn't let it be that easy though. He stepped aside and thrust his fist out again.

But even if it missed, two large Digimon fighting in a very narrow cave wasn't the best of ideas. The fight caused the walls to collapse, the debris flew everywhere.

She gasped out and covered her head.

While her partner swatted as much debris as she could with her vines. "We have to get out! It's too dangerous!"[rand=75872494742354581502117122114890489287377146964569764769380734777]

"Is that all?" Halsemon scoffed, as he attacked again, this time with blades of pressurized wind from the wings on his helmet, launched at the dark ring. "Mach Impulse!"

"She's right, we gotta get outta here!" Vix said, batting away debris as well, clearing a path for the humans to get moving.


"Halsemon, be careful!" Yolei said, as she began to run.


"Let's move!" They said, rushing out...

"GAHH!!" They all quickly vacated through the tunnel, along with their Digimon.

Quickly, they all rushed out of the tunnel as well.

Deltamon took the blow, but the ring still stood.

He opened all three of his mouths and blew out three streams of energy.

Triple Force: Fire off three powerful beams at once. Deltamon has to recharge for three posts before it can fire again. Runs off Mental.

Halsemon was nicked again, and he swung around for another direct strike... "Mach Impulse!"

They soon made it outside...

His hologram floated beside them all, "I'm more concerned about the population of Digimon, waiting for us. We can't knock out the rings of them all, if more keep coming."

Running, Cody looked up at the tower, down ahead the forest. "Wait! Of course! The tower! We have to destroy the tower! Maybe all the rings will stop working if we do!"

And with that, the egg he held shot off his hand and went into the mammal, running beside him.




Stopping, like on a dime, Davis gawked at the armored bug. "Him too?!?!"

"...seems like our best bet right now!" Tai uttered.



"And we can't help you guys out like this, so..."



"...good luck!"



Though he was relieved that some of them could still fight on their own, TK did feel like he should be able to help; but, of course, with regular Digivolution not working for them at the moment...

But of course, he was still not out. He swung his arm again.

Spotting a blockade of possessed Digimon marching toward them, Digmon spun his drills. "Y'all lookin for a rustle, now?" Swipping his claws back, "GOLD RUSH!!" He let loose a horde of drill missiles...

...Like a rapid blast of popcorn, the exploded on the Digimon, each destroying the rings on them.

"Wow, amazing!!" he awed, impressed how Digmon freed a large group of Digimon.


Almost wanting to scream like a whiny kid, he shook the Digi-Egg. "How do you make this thing work??"

"You gotta show courage to do it."

"I am showing courage! Does it look like I'm a scardy cat?!?"

"Armor... Digivolve?" The girl asked, gawking from the bushes.


"Man, that trick is old! No one uses that anymore!"


"True... but..." The little female creature brought up her holo-computer, "It seems the mystic energy used to give digimon an ability to digivolve in alternate means seems to be the only way (so far) to by-pass this block."

"So this is where all the fuss is about?"


Walking before the big, dark tower the goth girl hummed.


"Mi-Mari, should we be helping the others?"


"Oh, I'm sure they have they can handle it... like always."


"Still, even if you are playing a character, you're still a hero."


"That's true." All the fuss seems to be from this evil tower. Guess he might help. Reaching for the dark building, she just gave it a little... tap. "GT!"
Then suddenly a dark energy jolted through her body and shot her like a missile backwards.


"MIMS!" Palmon cried, rushing to where her partner was flying off to.

Both of them gaped in awe at Digmon's display of power.



"Strong..." TK uttered in turn.




Hearing that, Tai looked back at Davis. ...he's got to show courage...? Now that brought back memories...



...of when he both failed and succeeded to show true courage in order to become stronger years back.



"...it's not about being reckless, Davis." Tai uttered, as he looked back at the battle. "It's a lot more different than that."
