 Brett shook a bit as he walked up to the fountains, putting a hand on the memorial. It had been almost 11 years since... He shook again. He remembered where he was that day. In a classroom. No one would tell him why all the teachers were so panicked and there were a lot of adults crying.  "What...is this place?" asked Brick, innocently. He didn't know. He was only a couple days old.  "Something terrible happened here. Thousands of people were killed by people that hated this country. Innocent lives lost..." Brick blinked. "Thousands?" he asked, a sinking feeling in his stomach. "Yeah...thousands...I knew a kid whose grandparents died here..." Brett only looked away. "I said If I ever went to New York this would be the first place I visit...And it...it's tough." Brick frowned and hugged Brett's leg. |

Brett ignored the girl, mostly because, well, his attention was occupied. Brick looked at the memorial, too. "But people can do good, too!" he said with a smile. He'd seen Brett defend others and track down the Boogeymon. He'd known DATS agents. People could be good, or bad. |

"I watched your battle with Monochromon and the man known as 'Prometheus'. Keith Windslow... It seems you have unlocked the true purpose of the programs." He blinked, looking at the girl. "True purpose...? Who are you, anyway?" "Nanami, DATS US operative," the girl introduced herself, taking out a purple Digivice. "I was investigating the origins of the item and effect programs before Digimon Online shut down, and the dark towers blocked off the Digital World. There is a fact that few are aware of... The origin of the 'Item and Effect Program' app that is provided to Digimon Online players is unknown. It was provided to DATS by an unknown benefactor. I am trying to find out who, and why. It seems the 'why' is apparent... Providing humans additional means of offensive and defensive abilities, in combat..." She then looked away. "And it seems this benefactor has scattered special programs across the Digital World, in pieces. Items that could grant users great power." "Okay, that's weird..." |

Brett still wasn't paying attention. Seems that finally something more important than his short attention span had him gripped. "What's all this about?" asked Brick. They'd been filled in rather hastily. A lot of it went over Brick's head. Brett had managed to officially get hired, though the terms of salary and such were still up to debate. |

So this is the GeoGrey Sword's handle..." "The... GeoGrey Sword...?" Keith blinked. "But... Isn't that the weapon of ShineGreymon?" Vix asked. "Whoever created the programs also seemingly copied weapons from Digimon to create the special programs," Nanami explained. "The GeoGrey Sword program is split into four pieces... The two blades, the guard, and the handle..." Keith gulped, as he approached the handle, Digisoul surging around his free hand... And he reached out to grab it.
