Brett just about pounded Keith's face in.  "Don't make the assumption that just because this is America that everything is fast food," he said, eyebrow twitching.  "I don't care what, can we just get SOMETHING?" he asked. |

They got into the shop and Brett ordered himself a mint milkshake. Brick wanted a sundae with strawberry and chocolate ice cream. "All y'all are kids," he said, shaking his head, "I graduated college in May." Brick frowned. "I think the guys in the other DATS said I'm like three months old," he said. Wait, did that mean he went from Baby 1 to rookie in THREE MONTHS?! |

"I've only been around humans for a couple weeks," said Brick, "All as a Bearmon already! They said if I was alone I could be a 'danger to society' or something like that..." He frowned, but smiled as he ate. "This strawberry stuff is good!" "Well, it's some of what they tell you. Some it's not. Partying and studying. I played catcher on the baseball team, didn't party much, though. Don't drink, either. But yeah. Some professors are jerks, some aren't. You've got to decide to do something with your time and life, though. All up to you, not really anyone else." |
