DigiCity: First Step to Enlightenment

[Candescence]

DigiCity Police Department had a special room to allow secure Digital Dive transport between the two worlds so DATS operatives could get to the building quickly if they needed to be there in person.


"Alright, here we go..." Masaru stretched...


As Riza came in, and saluted the group. "Welcome to the DCPD."


"Thank you, Riza," Masaru saluted back briefly. "Looks like we don't have time to waste."


"None at all!" Agumon nodded.

Yoshi simply saluted briefly as she cast a glance at Riza. "So, where would Sanzomon be? We should hurry."

Sam and Aaren appeared, both kind of surprised.


"So this is the digital world, huh?" he asked, kind of awed.


"Home, in a fashion..."

That's when Gokuwmon answered.


"Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to tell you," said Goku.

[Candescence]

"Yeah, I figured. How're we gonna go about contacting her, then?" Masaru asked, crossing his arms.


"Yeah, you gotta have some idea!"


She looked at Goku, expecting an answer.

"Well, I can't to much other than to warn her we're coming. She doesn't move without me by her side. Ever. She'll sit put."


"How do you do that?"


"Well, you can see as to why I'm hesitant to do it..."
He sighed.
"Those who have virgin ears in this room please do cover them."


"Huh?"


"If you're offended by swearing, kindly leave or prevent yourself from hearing," he muttered, looking rather annoyed.

"...hm." Yoshi folded her arms. "How old do you think we are?" she remarked dryly.

[Candescence]

"I've heard you swear before, so..." Masaru chuckled.

"One hell of a lot younger than I am, kid," said Goku to Yoshino, "And, for that matter, tell that to Sanzomon..."

Sam and Aaren both shrugged.

"Do your worst."


"Indeed."

Goku inhaled-
And unleashed a string of swearing that would probably embarrass about every single person in existence.

"YOU ***SUCKING MOTHER***ING WHORE PIECE OF GOD**** SH*T-FACED FAT **** ***HOLE SON-OF-A B*TCH! I OUGHTA TURN YOUR INSIDES OUT AND ***ING FEED THEM TO YOU THROUGH YOUR FAT ***ING MOUTH UNTIL THEY EMERGE BLEEDING FROM YOUR TORN-UP FAT ***ING *SS! WHY YOU'RE SO GOD**** ****ING UGLY THAT YOU-"

All the while his headband crushed down on his skull, until he was completely KO'ed mid-sentence, whereupon he fell to the ground unconscious.

Sam and Aaren blinked.

"...Wow."

"...considering what he said, I don't really sympathize with him." Yoshi remarked dryly, as she shook her head.

[Candescence]

He cringed, "Might wanna wake him up..."


She nodded, kneeling down to shake Gokumon.

Gokuwmon moaned.

"See, that's why I HATE alerting her..."


"What was that all about?"


"When she's meditating, she's nearly unable to break from her concentration," he moaned, sitting up, "But she can feel when I'm getting my head crushed."
He pointed to the headband on his head. "Kinkoji. It's her way of teaching me manners. When I swear or act out of order, it contracts, until it knocks me out or I stop. One or the other. Only way to let her know I was coming was to force the damn thing to knock me out that suddenly. She'll notice now..."
He winced. The thing was still crushing his head, albeit less than before. "Either way, that's only to tell her I'll be coming back. If I fainted suddenly, it'd be because she was calling me back herself."


"So how do we get to her?"


"We walk."

"...well, better not waste away." Yoshi remarked, as she gave Gokuwmon a nod. "Lead the way."

[Candescence]

They nodded, getting ready to follow Goku.

Goku chuckled.

"As you wish. Though, Angel, shouldn't you be passing out the trinkets to these digimon for their own sake? Especially the Kotemon over there. I know of Marcus and Yoshino, but the lizard and his boy are weak."


"Say that to my-"

Gokuwmon was suddenly in Sam's-


"Face? What? You want to fight? Kid, you're hopelessly outmatched. I don't know how you got involved with these two but you aren't NEARLY ready yet. Heck, half the reason why we're walking is because you and your digimon here can't fly. And only those that have reached the highest level, or have some special purpose, can see Sanzomon where she meditates."


"What's that supposed to mean?"


"You ain't ready yet. And they're going to have to follow because you ain't."

Sam and Aaren both looked PISSED.

"...you know, honesty is a virtue, but you could be less blunt about it." Yoshi remarked as she folded her arms. "They're just starting out; give them a break."
