They also moved back...


"Tch... We'll see," Angewomon frowned, watching the creatures retreat.

"...our master will not rest... until the child of light is by his side..." the creature spoke, as he was the last of the bunch to retreat back into the waters. "...mark our words... this is not the end..."

And he was gone within the dark waters, along with the rest of them.



Immediately, TK hurried over to Kari. "Kari, are you alright?! They didn't harm you, did they?!" he uttered in an incredibly worried tone.



Angemon approached the group as well now that they all seemed to be in the clear.

[Candescence]

She took a deep breath, "No, I'm not hurt... And for the record, they're not responsible for these," she said, pointing at her breasts. "Someone somehow managed to pour some kind of liquid on my head (and Keith's head) via a portal."


"I guess that explains why Keith is a girl right now as well..."


"Yeah..." Keith scratched the back of her neck, as she recalled her items.


"Someone is trolling us..."


"But what did you mean when you said something about a 'Final Excalibur piece'?"


"Ah... Yeah... This." She took out both the component, and the GeoGrey Sword handle. "These are special item programs that have to be collected in pieces, and can be used by humans and Digimon alike, without the need for Digisoul..."

When Kari pointed those out, TK just immediately reeled back and tried avoiding showing a blush, as he looked towards Keith. "...so they brought you here for that...?"



"...whatever the case..." Angemon hummed, as he folded his arms. "...I think we're done here."

[Candescence]

"Yeah... But it's fairly useless without the other pieces, which are inside guardian Digimon that are spread around the Digital World," Keith noted.


"You figured out how to use those programs, still..." Kari smiled. "Yolei figured it out as well."


"She did? Good on her," Keith chuckled. He looked at TK, "Anyhow... Nice to see you again, TK. Um... I wish we could've reunited while I didn't have breasts and a lack of man-parts, but it could be worse. How's Davis, Cody and Yolei doing?"


"Davis is being his usual self, same with Cody... Yolei got shot by that Mari girl. With an AK-47. A healing effect on a water bottle saved her life, though..."


"WHAT?!" They gawked.


She looked around. "The problem is, how we get out of here..."

"...nh..." TK simply glanced aside.



"...there was this gateway not too far from here... if we can find it again-"



"Oh, but why leave now, mortals?"



In that instant, the very earth seemed to quake beneath them, as a massive being slowly emerged from the dark waters.

"Oh, what the hell," Keith groaned, equipping his stuff again.


"What now...?" Vix groaned, looking at the rising being...


They simply watched, prepared to fight again...

"...it couldn't be that master they were talking about, could it?" Angemon uttered, as he held his staff at the ready...

...and then, the booming voice laughed.



"Oh, no, nothing of the sort... I am a much bigger threat than any of you could phathom..."

With a thundering stomp, the massive figure had fully emerged from the waters, and sneered down at the group.



"...Chosen Children... welcome to the Dark Ocean."



Both of them gawked up at the massive figure before them.

[Candescence]

"Ooooooh shit. That's one big-ass croc," Keith gawked.


"What... What ARE you?!"


Kari hid behind Angewomon, as the latter prepared for a potential fight...

"...you wish to know?" he chuckled, as he lowered himself to let his teethy smirk be visible to the group. "...very well... I am Leviamon... Demon Lord of Envy."



"...a... Demon Lord?!"

"DEMON LORD?!"


"So there are more besides Daemon still alive...!"


She grit her teeth...

Angemon grit his teeth. Having just fought an Ultimate was bad enough... but now there was a Demon Lord to deal with as well? "...this isn't good..."



Chuckling, the demon beast gazed down at the group. "The lot of you seem startled. Isn't it natural for the owner of his home to greet his guests?"



"...what's a Demon Lord doing in this place, anyway?" TK uttered.



"A fair question..." he hummed, as he gazed down at the group. "...are there other questions that I may or may not answer?"

[Candescence]

"Yeah, were you the one who dumped that stuff on Kari and I?"


"And I guess to say that you live here would be fairly obvious... Who is the 'master' of those creatures?"


"And what are they?"

"...firstly... the liquid poured on you was the work of Lilithmon. Frankly, I'm surprised that she's interested in this realm... though she may have been preparing you for your supposed fate..."



"...don't mention that." TK growled; still not too pleased with the creatures for what they had implied.



"...before I answer any other questions... allow me to deal with your appearances. If Lilithmon intends to doll humans up, she can take it outside of my realm..."

Without a word of warning, Leviamon opened his mouth, and a brightly-colored incense shot out from his mouth; coating the group.



TK clasped his hand before his mouth and nose to keep himself from breathing any of it in...



...but Angemon didn't seem affected by it one bit; neither would Angewomon, for that matter.

As for Kari and Keith, though... the incense would carry a powerful scent that seemed to overpower everything around them; even the effects of the potion.
