 She could feel the very beating of her own heart, as she wondered how she got here... And for that matter, where she even was... She took a deep breath, and called out... "Hello...? Anyone here...?"  "Son of a... Someone's here! FINALLY!" She blinked, turning towards the source of the voice... "Oh, thank goodness... We thought there would be nobody around..."  Emerging from the fog, was Vix. She was surprised to see Kari. "You... You're..." "Well, I'll be..." But the figure next to her was a bit unexpected, even to those who knew Vix...   "Wasn't expecting to meet you of all people, here..." The young woman quipped. Kari blinked. "Did... Did you two call out for me?" "Not specifically... We called out for hours, but nobody showed up... Until now." "You're Kari Kamiya, right?" The girl smiled. "Um... I'm Keith Windslow... And this is my partner, Vix..." She blinked. "Yolei mentioned you... But she said you were a guy, not a girl with a D-cup bust and wide hips... Unless this place did something to you..." "This place? Nope. But earlier, a portal above me formed, and a strange liquid poured out of it, and next thing you know, I was like this..." "Okay, that's just-" Then, suddenly, a small, dark portal appeared above Kari's head, and next thing she knew, a pink liquid poured onto her head, and as the portal closed, her body changed a bit, growing a bit taller, her figure becoming curvier, and lastly, her chest grew to D-cups, much to her own bewilderment. "Oh, my gosh... Mimi would be jealous... This is weird!" She sighed, "You get the feeling someone's trolling us?" "Definately..." |

In any case, the three of them would soon see a lone being on the shoreline...

...what appeared to be a Divermon, though his entire body lacked the color one would expect from a creature like that. Two other noticeable things about him were the red eyes, and a dark ring snared around his arm. "...haah..."

"Wha..." Kari's eyes widened, as she rushed over. "Are you alright?!" "Hikari, wait!" Keith called out, following her, "He's got a dark ring on him!" "That, can be taken care of..." Vix mused, walking over, and carefully attempting to remove the dark ring and break it... |

However, when Vix tried removing it, the Divermon hissed at her and even clawed briefly at her, before it began scurrying away. Unnatural behavior for someone possessed by the Digimon Emperor, wouldn't you think?

Kari frowned. "Maybe we can contact the others, get help..." "Good idea!" Keith smiled, grabbing her Digi-Droid, and... "What. No reception or net connection?! I though Digi-Droids were supposed to get a connection anywhere in the Digital World!" "This isn't the normal Digital World..." Kari sighed. "... Come again?" She looked out to sea, "Everything just... Feels different..." |

After a point, though, they could notice that the Divermon stopped, and he glanced back at the group.

He nodded slowly, before motioning towards what seemed like a sewer line. "...help us..." With that, he crawled towards this sewer line; motioning for her to follow.

What they would find...
...well, it was practically a nest of similar Divermon. All of them were cowering in the dark sewer, but all of them perked at the sight of Kari. "...is it..."
"...it must be..."
"...the child of light...?"

One of the Divermon meekly stepped forward, and extended an arm out; a dark ring surrounding it as well. "...please... child of light... remove these..." he whispered, which turned into a mild chant from the rest of them. "...only you... can aid us..."

For a brief while, though, it didn't seem like her pulling on it was going to remove the ring; it seemed a lot sturdier than usual.
