DoDDW: Thad's Lab- Preparations and Activations

"Is that right? If they destroy each other during their personal war, then all the better for us."

"Right. That would help a lot."

"It gives us more time to prepare our attacks, at any rate," said Wolfang, "And hopefully collate more information, create more bodies, and give ourselves more options."


"I shall stay here until that clears over, then...allow Perseus to remain a mystery. Besides, I must get this teleporter ready."


"I'd really love to leave, but I don't think that's wise...I miss Brett already," she huffed.

[Candescence]

"Perhaps it might be a good idea to get Ashe and Metis as well," she noted... "Though maybe not... Metis would be worried sick about Aegis..."


"I hear she already is."

[kelik]

"She is." He nodded. "But let's see if we can find them."

"I doubt Metis has left DATS US," said Andorra dryly.


"You want us to go pick them up?"


"Hrm..."


"...What?"


"I am thinking..."

[Candescence]

They both glanced at Thad, blinking.


He was mainly sitting around, waiting.

They looked over too.

"Ashe already knows of this place...but not Metis...and I do not think she would be cooperative...as a safety precaution, we might need to leave her in the dark..."


"...tough call..."


"Indeed..."


"Where's Mulan with Xerox?"

Mulan darted back in.

"He should be arriving shortly."


"Nivala, if you wish, I could get you a tablet for you to search for things for your quarters. Either that, or you could pull up a keypad and help me."

[Candescence]

"That would be nice, yes," Nivalamon smiled.

Then...


"Hey, sup, gu-Sis?!" as he came in, Xerox saw Nivalamon, and his jaw dropped.


"Hello, brother," she chuckled.


"So this is the 'other' Xerox..." she blinked.

"I suppose that is for the best." He nodded at Thad.

"Yeah, it is." He nodded at his sister.

"I shall handle getting Ashe on my way to drop off Heero," said Thad, "Alia, I should probably do that now. Can you handle the teleporter creation yourself?"


"Yes, Xerox, this is your sister," chuckled Wolfang.


"If you want, you could join her as a digimon," said Mulan.


He stopped for a moment and made Nivala a tablet. "Here," he said cheerily and then went back to work.


"Sad to say, but true...Metis is kind of the odd one out..."

[Candescence]

"Ah... Didn't give that one any real thought, honestly."


She was a bit weirded out.


He grinned, sitting up as he realized he was finally going soon.


"I can handle it," she smiled.


She chuckled, taking the tablet and started looking through her options...

Thad sighed and stood up.

"I shall return to DATS NY and pick her up; I assume Keith went back and took residence in the apartment...which I will have to tell him to move out of here shortly...Lex, I would offer to take you back with me, but unless you want to be carried going at the speed of sound, I doubt that is a good idea. Thoth, could you make a digivice iC for Heero?"


"An iC? Simple enough. Here."
One appeared in Thoth's hand. "It has the protection from control that the D3 offers, but it cannot open portals and has no access to mystic elements such as your digi-eggs."


"Simple enough. Heero, you are syncing with this."


"We'll hold down the fort while you're out."


"Indeed. I should be back relatively shortly. If you could, alert the general that I need the plane ready at the substation point."


"Will do."


"Good luck, Thaddeus!"


"Hopefully I shan't need it."

He nodded. "Thanks for the offer, but I think i'll pass. Stay safe out there."

"Have a nice trip! See you next Summer!"

"It's Fall, moron..."

[Candescence]

"Alright!" He grinned, hopping to his feet.


"Stay safe, dear," she smiled.


They both nodded.
