DoDDW: Thad's Lab- Preparations and Activations

"I suggest designing and constructing an armor for him that looks like us," said Connors.

Wolfang rubbed his rather long chin.

"I have to consider whether or not I'm authorized to do that..."


"Yeah, that's a big step, but I think it's probably fair enough. Not like we're making an AI for it!"

Only Thad was allowed to design new AIs.

[Candescence]

"Alright, then, we should consider possible designs, then," Alia noted.

[kelik]

"Armor, eh?" He put his hand under his beak. "That is an interesting idea, I must say. But, do you think he can handle it?"

[BlueLoneWolf]

"With digisoul and mechanical assist? Yes, I would think he could."


"Do you have suggestions, Alia?"


"How big should it be? Like massive armor, something our size, or something more sparse and less obtrusive?"

[Candescence]

"I'd have to give some thought to that," she noted.

[kelik]

"If the armor's too think, then he won't be evasive, even with Digisoul. It would have to be something balanced and effective."

[BlueLoneWolf]

"That's what I was thinking. Something our sizes at most."


"Well, it seems we are going to go through with this," chuckled Wolfang.


"Though we would have to draw out the ideas...I do not think that the neural interface that Thoth gave Thad to work with our forms and design us would work on us, would it, Alia?"

[Candescence]

"Probably not, I would have to request something specifically for us," Alia sighed.

[kelik]

"Indeed, Wolfang. Although I think he may want some input on the design as well, if he wants to use the armor that is."

[BlueLoneWolf]

"...Correct, I would assume. Well, then. Let us get to testing. And see if we can get that weapon of yours ready, Tempest. We can propose to him this idea in the morning."

Brett yawned as he exited his room. Because Thad's lab didn't have a ton of bedrooms, he'd shared one with Andorra, but he had slept on the floor. When he got to the main part of the lab, he was surprised to see so many new faces...


"Oh, hey, Brett's up," said Tiamat, waving, "Hey there!"


"Thad got you guys finished last night?" asked Brett.


"Indeed, he did. Connors, but in the field, I have decided to go by Gavial. This is Tiamat and this is Alia."


"Pleasure to meet you all," said Brett with a chuckle.


"Do you know if Thaddeus is up yet?" asked Wolfang, his arms crossed.


"Don't think so, still probably in his room."

[Candescence]

"Good morning, Brett, it's a pleasure to meet you," Alia smiled.

[kelik]

"Good morning." He looked over at Brett too. "I'm Tempest."

He came in yawning, and blinked. "...the party just got bigg..."

"WOOOOOOOW!" In zipped the smaller robot. "They're all done?! AWESOME!"

Eventually EVERYONE came down and the group had a huge breakfast together.


"So...you guys are going to take on Kurata?" she asked.


"Once we are properly equipped? Yes," said the gator, nodding.


"We intend on likely adding one or two more to our ranks, I would think, but we are mostly a distraction; I assume we will have real authority and help at some point."


"That, and we have a request for Thad," said Wolfang.


"Oh?"


"The group was considering last night the possibility of creating you an armor that would conceal your identity," said Wolfang.


"An armor? Cool!"


"And the plan involving Pandora? Surely you cannot arrive looking like one of your creations, Thaddeus," she said.


"That is true," said Thad, rubbing his chin, "Unless I work some minor magic."

[Candescence]

"Wow! So cool!"


"So these are the other bots, huh?" He chuckled.


"Interesting..."


"We'll see what we can do about that," Alia noted to Thad.

[kelik]

"Indeed. We wanted your input on the armor as well, since you will be the one wearing it, sir."

"Armor, huh? Sounds cool, right Bit?"

He just looked amazed. "You guys are awesome..."

"......" Something about Bit seemed to put him off.
