DoDDW: Thad's Lab- Preparations and Activations

"We did not know what exactly you would want, either, so we held off on it to simply propose the idea to you."


"Hrm...I shall think about it. And Tempest, there is no need to call me 'Sir'. I am not in any way anything but the man that built you, and that is all. I am no superior or commander..."
Thad chuckled. "I am not old enough to be called a 'Sir'. Or a 'Mister Wyatt'. Heck, I do not even have a doctorate or anything!"


"What exactly do you think would be a good disguise, Erina? What do you think would really attract the...other you..."


"Bit...you seem to be annoying Tempest..." warned Daedalus in a whisper.


"We think that if there would be a way for you to form your armor similarly to the way that the digihumans do, that would be best, but..."


"Ah, yes, I would think it would cause more trouble than it is worth in that regard. But an armor to enter some sort of battle and taunt the enemy with? That is probably a solid enough idea..."

[Candescence]

She blushed, "Um... I can be distracted by cute boys..."


"I would know..."


"So we gotta have Thad look nice?"


"Sounds about right."

"Noted, si...Thad." Seemed to be a reflex.

"I am?" He looked over. "Guess he's a bit uptight..."

"...I heard that."

"EEE! Sorry!"

"Forget it." He said.

"If it helps, I feel your pain." He nodded, crossing his arms.

"Et tu, Kaz....?" He sobbed.

Andorra couldn't help but laugh a bit at Bit.

"You're silly, Bit."

Don't worry, Bit, your girlfriend is there to pick you up- literally, and snuggle you.

"I like you, Bit~" said Mulan, smiling with closed eyes.


"Well, what're your recommendations, then?"


"I look pretty snappy in a suit, but that is not much of a disguise."


"Alia, do you have our preliminary design suggestions ready?" asked Wolfang of Thad's- and his, he supposed, in a way- assistant.


"We did draw up some suggestions..."


"After we got done with some training and some work! Looks like your flame systems work great!" smirked Tiamat.

[Candescence]

"I have prepared them, yes," she said, pressing a button...


She giggled, nuzzling up with Kaz again.


They simply watched as the designs appeared...

"Eeeee!" He squealed. "I feel better now~!"

He blushed again and rubbed her head, looking at the designs. "Hm?"

He looked up at them as well.

These four designs showed up on the screen.


"Hrm, interesting, all of them."


"Sheesh, you guys are detailed."


"I didn't draw them..." he said, chuckling, "The webs on my hands are good for swimming, not for holding a pencil."


"Nor are my claws," chuckled the leader, "It was all Alia and Tiamat."


"Neat for your first drawings."


"Hrm...which one looks the most...Thad..."


"The horse one, I think!" said Abraham.

[Candescence]

"Indeed, the pegasus seems most like him," she remarked.


"I'd say."


"I like the look of the phoenix, though... Or is it a chicken?"


"I don't think that's a chicken, brother..."

"It isn't a chicken. It's a duck. I know my birds..."

"......."

"You build a tolerance for it, man."

"Indeed."

"I like the Unicorn too." He walked in, and looked at the designs. "Though, the tiger seems very nice too."

"...Can no one tell biology around here?" asked Olette of his sister-
Who was too busy hugging Bit to answer. He sighed, resigned.


"Lex, that thing's not a unicorn, it doesn't even have a horn. And tigers have stripes, not spots..." said Andorra with a facepalm.


"I assume you could construct these, possibly, as other members of your team?"


"If need be, yes," said Wolfang with a nod.


"...Hrm. I think that the first is indeed the best for me. I shall take it as the armor form to use. With that armor, I am going to take the name Commander Perseus."


"After the Greek hero who tamed the Pegasus. Right."


"Well, we'll get the systems working on it once you design the interior..."


"It will be harder to do so because of the more limited space..." said Thad, pushing up the brow of his glasses. "But between Alia and me, I think we can do it."


"...Where's Sekhmet?" asked Brick.


"Oh...she is probably still in the room," said Thad, shrugging a bit.

[Candescence]

"There you are~!" Sekhmet grinned, coming over, and hugging Thad from behind.


She chuckled, and nodded, "I think we can do it, yes."

"Awesome! Can't wait to see it!"

"I gotta admit, I can't wait either."

Let's ignore the time a bit...they've been in here for a while, and now they're going to exit. Everyone gets bumped to being able to use Full Charge level digisoul, including Lex and Andorra. They've been training long enough to justify that...

"Be careful, Thad," said Wolfang, clapping Thaddeus on his armor's shoulder.

Thad chuckled.

"Do not worry so much...I think that this shall be relatively quick..."

He put on his helmet and the new face he wore smirked.

"Commander Perseus of the KRF is ready to make his debut!"

"This armor that Thaddeus created from our designs contains high-speed propulsion systems in the tip of each wing, along with tornado generators in his cuffs. The suit is ideally purposed for rapid flight and maneuverability. It is a marvel that he managed to get it to work, but he and Alia did a fine job. His D-Touch is also given a slot so he has portal access and his revolver at his fingertips when he needs it."

"Well, it looks as if we've managed to get everything together," said Brett, crossing his arms.

Everyone was gathered in the lab for the trip back to the real world.


"Good luck."


"Thanks! Hopefully we'll see you soon!"


"Uncle Thoth..."

Thoth chuckled and hugged Daedalus.

"Do not worry, have faith in your friends and your training."
Thoth had finally given them the Dark Ring vaccine. Now, they were equipped as best as possible.


"Brett, you better come back alive!" said Andorra, pouting a bit.
She and Lex would be staying here to welcome Pandora when Thad got her.


"Don't worry, Andorra, I don't intend to die."


"Oh, Biiiiit, do not forget to come back to me, either~~~!" said Mulan, hugging him silly, then giving him back to Kaz.


"We're going to remain as incognito as possible. Hopefully we can keep out of the direct line of fire and hidden."
Maria and Captain Endymion were also there.


"I can't wait to get some intel and kick some ass," smirked the dragon, pounding one fist into a palm.


"Easy. We only have one more robot being built for now. We can't go off crazy-like."


"Good luck you nutcases. It's been real, hope to see you back here soon."


"Don't think I could get away with leaving my girlfriend here," chuckled Brett.


"We'll get moving! Hopefully, we'll be back soon with Pandora!"

Sobek then appeared

"Tell me when you are ready. I'll take you out to the real world."

"Mulaaan! I'll miss you....Kaz, I'm staying. Don't try and stop me!"

He held onto him. "No way! We got work to do, man!"

"Waaah....fine. But we're gonna come back, right?"

He chuckled. "Fine, fine. Next time."

"It's been really fun. We've gained a lot coming here."

"I can't wait to get out there myself..." He crossed his arms.

"Yeah. How bout you?"

@reiner@ "I had my own fun with Xbala." He grinned.

"Swear to god, Reiner..." He glared.

@reiner@ "Relax, kid. I'm not gonna get into the details..."

"Right," Alia smiled, "This is going to be interesting..."


"Yep..."


"Well, good luck, you crazy bastards," he chuckled.


She smiled as well.


"Good luck, Thad~!" she smiled, kissing him on the cheek.
