Looking around him, Tai narrowed his eyes. "...seems like DATS want us around..."



"DATS?" Ogremon blinked as he looked from Gatomon to Tai. "Could someone explain what happened?"



"Long story, Ogremon." TK spoke, as he glanced around him. "Right now, I think someone's expecting us..."



"...nh..."

[Candescence]

They were warped out, much to their surprise.


"Huh?!"


"Just us, it seems..."


"Hmm..."


"Something on your mind, Aniki?"


"I should talk to dad and Satsuma about maybe keeping an eye on Keith and that girl (dang, didn't catch her name)... They seem like potential candidates for DATS," Masaru mused. "Keith kinda reminds me of me... And a bit of Nerdstien, too."


"Whatever," Gatomon said. "I'd rather go looking for my tail ring..."

Davis, and Veemon, who just de-evolved, linked arms and square danced, happily.

Meanwhile, Izzy's hologram appeared. "We need to talk about the events of today back at DATS HQ."

"...right..." Tai nodded, as he rubbed his neck. "We could all use a bit of recovering after that..."



"I'll say..."



Rubbing his head still, Ogremon merely grunted.



"Should we Digimon tag along too, Izzy?" Agumon inquired.

[Candescence]

"Um... Okay. Oh, my gosh, this is so weird..." Yolei said.


"Calm yourself, miss Yolei!"


"Well, if one of those dark towers shows up again, keeping the Digimon here would NOT be a good idea," Masaru noted.


"Yeah!"


"Alright, fine..."

[AnT]

"Well maybe just you, Agumon, and the new Digimon. The rest of you should stay here and make sure all the Digimon in this area are completely free from the rings' control."

"Oh goody, so we're Digi-police." he sighed, fluttering back to the group.

"Okay guys." he said, looking like he was typing. "I'm gonna use emergency Digital Dive system, quickly. This glitch is interfering the link and locator protocols, but I think I can work around it before it spreads."

"Wait, what?!"

And just like light, the whole ground, minus Tentomon, Patamon, Ogremon, Gatomon, and Marcus' Agumon, ported off.

Weakly fluttering to the ground, Patamon let out a small sigh. "...guess we got to check on the other Digimon..."



"Geez..." Groaning, Ogremon just rubbed his head. "And here I thought waiting for Leomon wouldn't hurt this much..."

[Candescence]

"Sheesh..." Gatomon said.


"Well, let's hop to it, then!" Agumon said.

Fluttering over to Gatomon, he noticed something about her tail. "Gatomon, what happened to your tail ring? You never leave home without it, right along with some spare cat nip."

"...yeah, I just noticed." Patamon hummed, as he fluttered over to Gatomon as well. "Where did your ring go?"



Ogremon merely glanced at her as he rubbed his head with a groan.

[Candescence]

"I was running from one of the affected Digimon, and I think he stepped on my ring, and it slipped off my tail..." Gatomon said...


"Wow... Good thing you've still got spare catnip!"

TWACK!

"OW!"


"Idiot..." Gatmon muttered, as she looked around. "I'm not sure where it slipped off..."

"Oh dear. Without it, you're as weak as a newborn kitten."

[YolkaEd]

"Well, about as strong as us Rookies." Patamon noted.



"Man, that's a heavy handicap..." Ogremon grunted as he sat down; rubbing his arm where Flamedramon had crashed into him.

[Candescence]

"Well, I can work with that," Gatomon said. "It's better than nothing."


Agumon nodded. "Rookies can be tough, too!"

"Tough enough to get pounded to a pulp by Ogremon, here..." he groaned.
